Hi:
Recent GR research has shown that the 43 Arc Seconds of precession per
century accounted for by the theory can just as correctly be derived if
the Sun orbits Mercury...the geometric universe...gravity a fictitious
force and all that.
On the subject of death, the Hottentots have a
story about its origin.
The Moon sent an insect to convey the following
message to mankind: "As I die, and dying live; so you too
shall also die, and dying live".
As the insect was on his journey, he was
stopped by a hare who told him he was the better runner, and should
himself convey such an important message.
When the hare reached men he screwed up the
message and said: "The Moon told me to tell you that as she dies, and in
dying perishes, so you too shall die, and come wholly to an end".
When the hare returned to the Moon and told the
Moon what he had said, the Moon was very angry. She took a piece of wood
and struck the hare on the nose slitting it. "How dare you tell mankind
something I have not said, she exclaimed!"
Since that day, the hares nose has been slit,
but men still believe what the hare told them.
We live in a periodic universe. We can see it
with our own two eyes. An insect can grasp the implications. I didn't have
a chance to respond to some guy who entered this board a few weeks ago on
the subject of Chaos. His math was great- and as flat as a pancake. To
him, increasing dimensions were increasing chaos. Confusing complexity
with chaos is a serious matter.
Any GUT has to include an explanation for the
dimensional complexity we observe in our own shaving mirror.
Best Wishes! Sam Cox
