Hi:

I asked one guy on the forum, who by the way I respect very much, how he came to expect the universe to be palatable. When the data are in, and we are 99 and forty four one hundredths percent sure (as good as we can get in a 4D universe!) we know what kind of a cosmos we really live in, I have a hunch everybody will be screaming!...even though it is obvious this reality is chiral to a fault!

Even the Bible refuses to give the universe better than a "4" (very good) on a scale of 6 (below perfect and excellent, and above good, fair and poor).

Nobody however can deny that chiral regions of the universe are also dynamic! The chiral surface of the Earth gave birth to life...or how about male and femaleness!

An 11th grade Chemistry student this morning asked me how such a murderous gang as Homo sapiens could drive the universe toward order and away from chaos- out of the mouth of babes!

We just finished a brief study of Binomial Expansion, and I reassured him (with trepidation!) that the complexity of life does not insure the absence of chaos!...that life only insures that on the average, in a finite universe, such complexity "loads the dice" enough to keep the second law in check!

Best Wishes, Sam Cox
