Hi:

Its analogous to a phase change, as when the pond freezes over. When the universe is observed in 4-D it is dynamic. From the cosmic vantage point, the universe is not at all dynamic. Rather it is a matrix, a frozen construct, more like a house or a cathedral. Each person and object is like a stone of which the cathedral is made, and stays forever at the came geometric coordinates.

The secret is in understanding the way we view time from 4-D. We see only cross-sections of our whole existence at a "time", and so detect "motion" and "change", but motion and change are vestiges of only our frame of reference. When we see our existence in its entirety, all at once, time as we know it simply evaporates and becomes what it is- a linear dimension.

The universe is seen to be the construct which it is...a matrix of varying energy densities. The cosmos changes phase...the pond freezes over.

I've briefly spoken about the "secret". The BIG questions are WHY and HOW, for the geometric universe is an observationally confirmed reality to many significant figures.

Best Wishes, Sam Cox
