All the comments are interesting! I had a point by point all set up on this before anybody else answered your post, and I changed my mind and reset the thread. I'm glad I did!

The mathematical model of GR works from zero to infinity. The conceptually related SRT part is there to keep us straight and remind us we live in a finite universe which goes NOT from zero to infinity but ALMOST zero to infinity...and wow is that a big almost!

At the other end of the spectrum, I had a very interesting exchange a few months ago with an engineer and very good mathematician who had the Einsteinian universe infinite in mass and as flat at a Euclidean pancake.

And now we have a person who starts (and ends) with the massless photon and has the entire universe floating and flying at tachyon speeds like a flying saucer!

Anybody who thinks the universe is counterintuitive the way Einstein modeled and intended it, ought to try infinite mass and massless photons! Many professional people who blithely speak of the massless photon to avoid the counterintuitive implications of relativity ought to have their noses rubbed in this fellows work!

I was at a lecture once where a professional scientist spoke of the massless photon as he carefully pointed the solar cells of his handheld scientific calculator at the fluorescent lights in the ceiling! A massless particle or wave is a blatant contradiction in terms,and a conceptual violation of the SRT/GR concept, but the other day I saw that contradiction again for the umteenth time in a reprint on the GR postings.

Energy has mass and mass is energy...in the SRT GR concept anyway.

The fellow in this site made other serious conceptual errors too. Nothing exists outside a GR universe...by definition- not even his flying saucer.

The graphs he had posted looked just like the ones we got in High School when we "levitated" iron bars with electromagnets and gradually increased the voltage.

The site was just plain glitzy...is he selling electromagnets as flying saucers? Forget what he is "levitating". The whole contraption taken together, wouldn't weigh a milligram less...at any voltage from the frame of the floor.

A parting comment: The photon in relativity is a most amazing thing. From our frame it is almost (get it...ALMOST massless) and infinitesimal, yet it is connected with every other photon in a matrix of complex and varying energy densities which encompasses the universe (action at a distance). In the S7 concept the photon construct we call ourselves stretches 60 billion years to the other side of the universe and completes the inverse mapping necessary to guarantee the survival of the universe and ourselves, forever.

The photon is truly a marvel of engineering, just as the universe itself is a marvel of engineering...but the photon is not massless, and his "findings", based as they are on false assumptions about the nature of the universe, are very questionable indeed. I suggest he have a careful, basic look at the basic concepts of SRT and GR.
