Introduction

Pilots refer to high performance airplanes- with awe- as "time machines". I've logged many commercial air miles and plenty in a private airplane, and I agree. It has been a "normal" experience for me to leave Micronesia at 4:45PM on Friday the 15th and arrive in Honolulu at 4:45AM on Friday the 15th...twelve hours before I left Micronesia by the calendar. The 9,600 statute miles from Micronesia to Philadelphia is routine- I've done it many times, and I have had the experience of being on the morning flight from Houston to Philadelphia wearing a pungent "mar-mar" under the cold stares of men and women in business attire.

I have enjoyed being in Philadelphia one hour and at a restaurant overlooking Niagara Falls the next, or living in a Micronesian thatched roofed hut one morning and riding the escalator to American customs in Honolulu the next. Sunsets that take five hours- or don't even happen- and sunrises at 2,000 miles per hour in which the sun can actually be observed to "pop" out of the horizon are "down my alley". Of course, the almost instantaneous change from summer to winter when flying is legendary, and most folks from developed countries have flown from winter to summer on occasion. It is amazing what complicated pieces of machinery, a curved surface and a lot of energy can do- in 4-Dimensions.

If you think that travel on the curved surface of the earth is amazing, even counterintuitive, well, I extend an invitation to experience existence- as a complex biological being- on the four dimensional event horizon surfaces of a Seven Dimensional (and up) Einsteinian Hyperspherical Universe!
