Response by Sam Cox to "The Theory of Cold Quantum Space" by Junfeng Cao; (China)

Hello:

I felt "right at home" as I read Junfeng Cao's paper. I evaluate many like it each semester as I grade my students' research papers in Expository Writing II. The paper was, so far as I can determine, written in a Chinese dialect and translated into English by a second party who was very diligent, but didn't do Junfeng any favors. Although the translator did have a pretty good grip on his (or her) English syntax. (word order), word meaning wasn't their specialty! I'm sure the writer knows the difference between a star and a planet! (Paragraph 7)

Junfeng needs to precisely define all terms used in the paper, so the reader can understand what is said. If, indeed, Junfeng wrote the paper personally, he is learning English "normally". When humans learn a language, they first learn to pronounce words and have only the roughest idea of their meaning. Later, they "nail down" their understanding of word meaning, and can express themselves with almost complete accuracy to other speakers of the language.

What does "Quantum" mean? I would have liked to had that word clearly defined, for my understanding of the most important concept in the paper "sinks of swims" on the intended meaning of that word.

In English, the word "quantum" has a first meaning of "Amount", but it is also spoken to mean "an elemental or fundamental unit" as in Quantum Mechanics.

Junfengs idea of the Earth being created out of a cold, dead sun may bring smiles to the faces of those who think they know better, but watch out for human intuition folks! If Special Relativity, General Relativity and Quantum Mechanics are right- Jungfeng is right! He has picked up a frame of reference which really exists.

A point I made in MY paper (The Einsteinian Hyperspherical Universe) was that if we observe carefully (and sometimes even when we don't observe carefully), we pick up the true SR, GR and QM nature of reality unconsciously, affecting our intuitive sense, and of course our philosophical and religious beliefs.

The sinking of the Titanic is an almost perfect four dimensional projection of a 7-Dimensional, SR, GR and QM universe. Since singularity is a kind of fluid, and the two "hemispheres" of the hyperspherical universe "float" on the "surface" of microscopic singularity, the stage is set for an amazing projection of our hyperspherical reality.

First the Titanic (a "hemisphere" of the Hyperspherical Universe) floats in a horizontal, stable position on the marginally closed North Atlantic ocean. As it sinks, it goes down slowly at first, developing a sloping deck, at an increasing angle to the surface of the water (polarity beginning to change with the changing frame of reference in space time).

The ship itself is not a straight line (as it would be mathematically defined in GR) but fat, containing areas where different conditions exist (Quantum Mechanics).

As the ship fills, it eventually reaches an angle of 90 Degrees with the surface of the water (dimensional buffs take note) and plunges to the bottom with most of its hapless passengers.

However, this is not the end of the story in a 7-Dimensional, SR, GR and QM universe! Entropy is cyclically wound up and run down in the hyperspherical universe as energy, time and space flow move in a circular motion in their eternal dance. Like a rock being thrown in the air and following a parabolic arc, the "second law" (order tends to disorder) works as the rock moves upward, but the entropy cycle is rewound as the rock reaches its apogee (a bean shaped singularity on the hypersphere) and comes "down" on the other side of space time!

Here is the clincher, (and we get back to Junfeng). The sun will die, probably with the earth, about 5 billion years from now, and the Earth will become a part of our dying star. 50 more billion years pass, and the universe reaches the "peak" of its entropy curve. Slowly the sky brightens and THE EARTH IS REBORN OUT OF A REVIVING SUN. More billions of years pass. Dead bodies on the bottom of the North Atlantic Ocean begin to reorganize themselves. The Titanic comes back from iron oxide, loses its coat of grime and returns, with its reconstituted passengers to the surface of the Atlantic. At first the ship is perpendicular to the surface, but rapidly at first, then gradually, it regains its stable position and returns to England.

INCREDIBLE! UNBELIEVABLE! IMPOSSIBLE! LAUGHABLE! Guess again! I have just described an everyday four dimensional projection of the most experimentally verified cosmological model since the dawn of history...SR, GR and QM, and Junfeng senses it. Why and how can he sense it? He and we sense it because we view the universe of reality every day of our lives...and it profoundly influences us. No wonder the world of science is in a state of denial and shock. Personally, I react to all this like a kid who enjoys watching a fight. I know the 7-D foundational GR reality will win, its just fun watching to see how long "modern" science can deny the truths of its own proven theories- and rationalize counterintuitive data flooding in from the field which can only be correctly interpreted in the context of a dimensionally very complex cosmos.

I think Jungfeng has all the qualities of a very good scientist, good powers of observation, curiosity and above all, a good imagination! I suggest he continue his science education- with vigor!
